Houston, Texas-based Quikserv Corp, specializing in stainless steel and aluminum fabrication since 1986, was burdened by tedious and error-prone sales/order tracking, customer service and shipping processes. Rapid sales growth combined with increased customer call volume and a large database overwhelmed its existing spreadsheet-based system.

Local computer consulting firm, Advanced Applications, resolved these issues by first upgrading Quikserv to Sage 300cloud, then performing numerous enhancements. These included a customized function called “Rapid Retrieve” as well as the Sage 300cloud Optional Fields module.
